  • Avoid eating or drinking 2–3 hours before.
  • No intense exercise 12 hours prior.
  • Limit caffeine & alcohol 24 hours prior (they affect hydration).
  • Test barefoot & remove jewelry/watches.
  • For women: avoid testing 5 days before your menstrual cycle and first couple days due to fluid shifts and in pregnancy
